Tree-Licker

My New Testament professor is trying to get a group together to go to Turkey this summer. I think that if I commit to selling myself into indentured servitude and put up a couple of non-essential organs on the black market ... I think I will be able to go. The point of the trip is to follow the steps of Paul (yes, biblical Paul) exclusively in Turkey. I know ... Bible, yuck. But travel, FUN! I enjoy this professor immensely, so I trust that if she endorses it, you will be able to take whatever you want from the experience. I imagine there will be a person or two who will want to lick the tree that Paul stood next to, but there will be plenty more people who want to get at least a whiff of the great history and culture that I can't wait to dive into.

We need ten people to go ... and I think last count was six. So, I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
